Lasagna simplify

Since my last lasagna, I noticed that a lot of people had adjusted their lasagna recipe, which I soon follow and found more economic and no less appetizing. I did the adjusted lasagna for Aidilfitri, and it was a huge hit.
This is what I did :

Method:

1) Layer a baking dish with olive oil.

2) Put a layer of lasagna sheet, Put a layer of bologna sauce, Put a layer of white sauce

3) Repeat method 2 as needed. I only did two layer.

4) Put a layer of cheese. I manage to found Mozarella slice.

5) Pour in half a cup of milk.

6) Bake until golden.

Enjoy!!!

New Love

Life has brought new love into my life. and I do love her with a vengeance. Though she can always spark an anger to my mood, but she is easy to love.. I don't know one can love someone as hard. And her cuteness is really another asset to people falling in love with her (I'm not the only one).
I thank Allah each day for giving her to us. She is such a blessing to us.
I dedicate this post to you Hana Sakinah. I do love you. May I can always be a good example to you and lead you to road to Jannah. In sya Allah.

chocolate mousse

It's been a while now since I last whip up something.. The new member of the family sure does means that I will have insufficient me-time.
This is something that I tried making for my anniversary, and it doesn't turn out as bad as I think it would.. hehe.
I got the recipe from Martha Steward web page, so you can be somewhat sure it's gonna be good, or at least not bad.

Ingredients:

4 large egg yolks
4 tablespoons sugar
2 cups heavy cream
8 ounces bittersweet chocolate, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Methods:

  1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together egg yolks, 2 tablespoons sugar, and 3/4 cup heavy cream. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring, until mixture coats back of spoon, 3 to 4 minutes (do not boil). Remove from heat; whisk in melted chocolate and vanilla. Strain into a bowl; chill until cool.
  2. With an electric mixer, beat remaining 1 1/4 cups heavy cream with remaining 2 tablespoons sugar until stiff peaks form. Stir 1/3 of whipped cream into cooled custard mixture, then gently fold in the rest with a rubber spatula.
  3. Spoon into serving dishes; chill, covered, at least 30 minutes and up to 3 days. Bring to room temperature before serving.

what I did was; I doubled the ingredients, and made two type of chocolate mousse at the same time: dark chocolate and white chocolate. But I did blend between the two to get a light brown colored mousse.
